Dr Pundit Roshan Singh is a renowned and highly respected Priest. He is an ordained Pundit who has studied under various spiritual masters and teachers of India and has been initiated by His Holiness Krishan Das Swami Maharaj. He personally met and was inspired by His Divine Grace A C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada the founder acharya of ISKCON. He has had personal association and was inspired by His Holiness Swami Sahajanandaji Maharaj of the Divine Life Society and His Holiness Swami Shivpadananda the spiritual head of the Rama Krishna centre and has obtained his accreditation from Dr David Frawley of the American Institute of Vedic Studies in the Science of Jyotish Astrology and Ayurveda.

Pundit Roshan is well conversant with the major religions of the world in particular Hinduism. He has a profound knowledge of the Bhagavad-gita and the Srimad Bhagvatam. He completed his BA degree at the University of Durban Westville majoring in the Science of religion and Sanskrit and completed his Bhakti Shastri Degree in
India.
His discourses over national TV, Radio and at public programs have always been well received. He played the role of a Pundit in the famous soapie Isidingo.
He is known for the exemplary manner in which he conducts the 16 sanskaars from birth to death, especially Hindu Marriage ceremonies.
He is the first Hindu pundit in the Republic of South Africa to bring honour to his people by being appointed as the countries first Marriage Officer. He holds the position of Marriage Officer, Justice of the Peace and Commissioner of Oaths. He made history in our land when he presented facts from the Manusmriti and other scriptures of the sanctity of the Hindu marriage in a High Court hearing. He was commended by Judge Chiman Patel for his dept and insight into the Vedas. The ruling of this hearing is now used as a yard stick by all attorneys in the country.
He is the recipient of an Award of Honour from the All India Federation of Astrologers Societies for his contribution in the field of Vedic Sciences and has received a Gold Medal and honoured with the Devagya Maharishi title from the Akhil Bhartiya Saraswati Jyotish Manch, India. He presented a paper at the International Symposium on Astrological Sciences on the topic “Programming the birth of a Child, Astrologically”. This was well received and published in the Research Journal in India. He always endeavours to further his knowledge in these Vedic Sciences so that people can benefit from the Vedic teachings. His client base stretches from people of all nationalities internationally.
